Latest intel on DT5 main game (oldskool vs newskool)Team Oldskool: Elite Mobile Infantry (led by a general)
Team Newskool: Alien Bugs Legion (led by a chieftain)
Ratio of players: 1:3 (i.e. 60 Infantry vs 180 bugs)
Game starts at 10:30am.
Game ends at 12:00noon.
Field of play (to those who are familiar with tanamera):
- Killing Fields
- Lake Placid
- Ring of Fire/Thorn Island
- Killhouse
- Jungle
- Vietcong Village
Starting Points:
The Bugs will start from the "killing fields" (main HQ).
The Infantry will be placed at 4 base of operations for the bugs to take over:
- base 1: lake placid
- base 2: ring of fire/thorn island
- base 3: killhouse
- base 4: vc village (main HQ)
Respawn:
- 5 respawns for Elite mobile infantry (every 15mins but if the main HQ in VC village is taken over then no respawn left for the Infantry).
- 2 respawns for Alien Bugs (every 15 mins & only up to the 1st half an hour, unless they manage to take over a base, then additional respawn for the Bugs).
- 2 respawn for Berzerker Bugs (which is on the 30th & 45th min of the game, unless they manage to take over a base, then additional respawn for the Berzerker Bugs).
- respawn points/area to be confirmed on site.
- general/chieftain only dies thru head-shots.
- infantry/bugs: any body shots... you're dead (except marker shots)
2 horns will be blown to commence the game (at 1030am)
A horn will be blown to mark for respawn. (every 15mins)
3 horns will be blown to mark for game over. (at 12noon)
In a nutshell:
The Elite Mobile Infantry objective is to defend & survive for 1 1/2 hrs & the Alien Bugs Legion's objective is to take over all the bases within the same time frame.

"First and foremost, I would like to thank you all for the support and the organising committee for willing to endure the 'sakit kepala' to make this happen. I like to highlight the plight of those under privileged kids from Rumah Bakti Ulu Kelang.
We will be hosting 30 of them on Sunday. Their childhood is very much different from ours or our kids, we still can afford to
get KFC and paint others every week but not them... so, we will give them KFC, thanks to you all and SPECIAL THANKS to the individual for sponsoring. A small group of volunteers will make all d arrangement and attending their needs during the event.
They will be with us from 11am to 2pm.There gonna be a designated corner for any of you who wish to donate books,clothes or anything suitable. RM10 from fees that you paid will go to the charity, apart from that, there gonna be a 'special box', for you who wish to donate additional cash. This box will be supervised by personnel from Rumah Bakti.
Our gamemaster, Kerry, designed a simple game or two for them. This will be held during our break..We're hoping you'll be there and cheering for them. Tanamera will provide equipment and paintballs(thanks), and Gmee is currently trying to bring in more paintballs for them..THANK YOU GMEE.
